I've tried many mascaras over the years, but Lancôme Hypnôse Drama Mascara in the shade Black 01 is one of those that truly lives up to its name – drama is exactly what you get!

Packaging and brush
The packaging feels luxurious and elegant, just as you would expect from Lancôme. The curved brush was a bit unexpected at first, but after a few uses I realized that it really helps to capture each lash and provide both length and volume from the root.

Results
With just one coat, I get an intense black color that opens up my eyes and gives my lashes a real boost. It quickly builds volume without feeling clumpy. If you want even more drama, you can easily apply a second coat without the lashes sticking together. The lashes look full and sweeping – perfect for both everyday and party wear.

Sustainability
The mascara stays in place all day without crumbling or smudging under the eyes. Despite that, it is relatively easy to wash off with a regular eye makeup remover. A big plus for those of us who don't want to rub our eyes for ages.

Suitable for…
It is suitable for those who want a mascara that gives dramatic, intense lashes with lots of volume and deep blackness . However, it may not be the first choice for those who prefer a natural look.
