Hur målar man en perfekt eyeliner?

Applying eyeliner can be difficult. Here are some tips on how to apply the perfect eyeliner!

The perfect wing:

Step 1. Start at the corner of your eye and use the long side of your eyeliner to draw it along your lash line. Then when you're going to make the wing, at the edge of your eye, you can imagine an invisible line that goes from the edge of your eye and straight up to the last hair on your eyebrow.

Step 2. A tip is to place the long side of your eyeliner on the “invisible line” to automatically create a wing. You can also paint the line yourself using the pointed tip of the eyeliner.

Step 3. To finish the wing, bring the end of the wing together with the line you painted along your lash line. Finally, fill in the small triangle that forms.

More tips:

  • If you find that drawing the actual line is the hardest part of eyeliner, you can try drawing small dots to guide you as you draw the actual line. In other words, let the dots show you the way.

  • Correct mistakes, it doesn't matter if your wing isn't perfect. Dip a cotton pad in micellar water or makeup remover and smudge until it's good and you're happy.

  • If you don't feel comfortable using a liquid eyeliner, you can use a pencil instead. It's a little easier to use if your hands are shaky. Paint along the lash line and then use a small brush to smudge your line.

Working with eyeliner and liquid eyeliner:

Step 1: Use a eyeliner pencil to sketch out a shape. With the eyeliner pencil, you can easily sketch where you want the lines to go. Focus first on the upper line, not at the root of the lashes.

The second one fills in on itself, so to speak. So you shouldn't focus on the front line, you should just fill in there.

Start with the wings and work your way inward.

Step 2: Once you have a shape that works with your eyes open and closed, it's time for the liquid eyeliner. You can either tilt your head back and use a regular mirror or you can use a small hand-held mirror so you can play around with the eye shape by looking in the mirror at different angles. Again, start at the wings and paint inwards towards the bridge of your nose.

Remember to let the eyeliner dry thoroughly before looking straight ahead again.
