Product: Brow wax pencil

What is it? Brow wax pencil is exactly what it sounds like. A pencil for eyebrows. More specifically, a wax pencil. The pencil has a wax that you can unscrew and looks like a regular lip pencil. At the other end there is a small silicone brush. The wax is transparent and works like regular wax. You simply take and drag the wax over your brow and then comb it with the silicone brush.

What do you want to achieve? What you want to achieve with the wax is simply to keep the brows in place. Possibly style the brows in a different or trendy way. For example, you can use the wax to comb/brush the brows upwards.

Benefits: The biggest advantage of waxing is that it actually keeps your brows in place. For those with long, bushy brows, waxing is a quick way to get them in place. Without having to trim, pluck, or do anything else that takes time. You avoid spiky brows and stubble that sticks out.

Disadvantage: The disadvantage is that the wax does not dry. Some may find this good, but it can feel like the brow is a little sticky at first before you get used to it.

Keep in mind! I believe and my experience is that the wax works best if you have colored eyebrows or natural eyebrows that you have not colored or need to color. I tried the wax on eyebrows that were painted with eyebrow pencil and the color came off on the brush and became very sticky throughout the eyebrow. I then tried the brush on eyebrows that were already colored and the result was much better.

Final summary: A handy wax to have in your makeup bag. Easy to use and gives a lasting result. Works best on colored brows and for those with long, bushy brows.
